About Me
At my core, I'm an artist. I've spent years exploring creativity across media, including painting, sculpture, jewelry, and photography; each one is a different language for expressing how I see the world. My photography practice, which I've been building since 2014, takes me across Arizona and beyond, capturing family, graduation, special moments, scenic views, and individual portraits that feel true and alive. Alongside my art, I'm a first-generation graduate with a Master of Science in Medical Sciences from Baylor University and a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences from the University of Arizona, where I graduated Cum Laude. The more I studied science, the more it felt like art; both ask you to cultivate curiosity, look closely, find meaning in what you see, and make something of it. Both disciplines demand patience, the willingness to sit with something until it reveals itself to you. Science taught me to be precise, to question what I think I know, and to find beauty in the details most people walk past. Photography taught me the same things, just with light instead of language. I've come to believe that the best work in either field comes from the same place: a genuine desire to understand the world and share what you find. In the end, I never had to choose between the two.
